My wife and I built a 40’ dome in the coastal mountains of Southern California in 2021. It’s nearly sunny everyday here and our little piece of mountain paradise has been dreaming up its next metamorphosis, which we knew would be double glass domes conjoined. There’s only a few dome companies even capable of pulling that engineering off, and that’s from the world market. Then the folks at Raxtent came up with the hexagon dome and we fell in love with that design and started the design process with them. Halfway through the design process we saw they came out with the capsule model. We were torn between the two incredible designs and with allot thought and care we came to raxtent with the hexagon capsule design of our dreams. All the doors, all the difficult engineering to get them to integrate with the structure, glass quality, strength, ect ect. Mia worked with us for nearly a year on the dream hexagon capsule build with second story doors to the exterior and strength enough for my wife’s aerial students. Fast forward to now and we have the dome parts and pieces and will be pouring concrete soon. Will post pics and vid when we get it built but as for the process thus far all I can say is that Mia and Raxtent are incredible and can make your dreams out of aluminum and glass.

This glass dome is very beautiful and has a gorgeous atmosphere. It can be completely hidden with a 360° curtain, so it's very easy to use.
The person in charge was very polite and I was able to complete the transaction smoothly with peace of mind.

This 7m glass dome is beautiful . Everyone that sees it loves the look and I haven’t even finished the build yet. This kit came extremely well packaged to prevent damage while in transit and Mia was excellent at answering my questions prior to the purchase and even afterwards when I had questions during the build process. RaxTent allows for customization from exterior glass colors, frame color, window placement, and interior panels.. I’m almost finished with the build. Make sure you have 4 people to help and it can be constructed in 4-5 days. Here’s a photo of my dome build(2/3 complete). This is going to be a gorgeous weekend getaway/Glamping AirBnB.
