From Vision to Reality: Inside the Creation of a Spectacular Glass Dome Resort - Luxeglamp in UAE’s Mangrove Sanctuary
In a secluded corner of Umm Al Quwain’s protected mangrove forest, something remarkable has taken shape — an immersive, sustainable glamping resort that blends cutting-edge design with environmental harmony. Over the past months, the barren coastal terrain has transformed into a destination unlike any other, with 16 glass dome tents gently scattered across the landscape.

🏞️ The Vision: Immersive Luxury, Zero Disturbance
From the beginning, the client had a clear ambition: create a luxury retreat that allows guests to experience the raw beauty of the mangroves — without disrupting them. That meant every element, from structure to installation, had to be light on the land but rich in experience.
The chosen architecture? Our geodesic glass dome tents are custom-designed to complement the curves of the coast and reflect the surrounding sky and sea.
Unlike traditional concrete builds, these domes require no foundation work or heavy machinery. Once delivered, each dome was assembled on-site by a small team, quietly and efficiently — often within just 4–5 days per unit.

🌬️ Designed for Harsh Climate, Built for Comfort
As construction moved forward, the design’s advantages became clear. With insulated tempered glass and an aerodynamic frame, the domes stayed surprisingly cool during the day — and retained warmth at night.
Though the region is known for sandstorms and temperature swings, the geodesic structure handled the elements with ease. Its low wind resistance and seamless seals proved especially valuable near the coastline.
And inside? The panoramic glass surfaces offered stunning 360° views of the mangroves and ocean, creating the perfect space for stargazing or waking up with the sunrise at your feet.

🛌 More Than a Room — A Complete Glamping Home
Beyond aesthetics, the interior of each dome was tailored to offer a fully self-contained glamping experience. Guests can enjoy a proper queen-sized bed, soft lighting, full privacy curtains, and even their own bathroom and mini kitchen.
The glass domes weren’t just sleeping pods — they were tiny houses in their own right, designed to deliver comfort, romance, and adventure in equal measure.

🌍 A Sustainable Statement
Perhaps the greatest success of this project lies in what wasn’t built: no cement foundations, no concrete walls, no disruption to the ecosystem. The entire camp remains semi-permanent — allowing it to be adapted, relocated, or expanded in the future.
This kind of glamping development represents the future of eco tourism. It’s luxury without compromise, powered by solar systems, designed with airflow in mind, and aligned with environmental values.

🌟 The Result: A Destination Worth Discovering
Since opening, the resort has welcomed guests from across the world — drawn by the promise of sleeping beneath the stars in a glass dome, just meters from protected mangrove waters. Many describe it as surreal, peaceful, and utterly unique.
For RAXDOME & RAXTENT, it’s a proud moment: seeing our glass geodesic tents not just installed, but elevated — part of a vision that respects nature, delights guests, and stands the test of time.
