How to Install 10M Honeycomb Glass Dome House
Share
step-by-step installation of RAXDOME 10-meter honeycomb glass dome.
Step 1 — Assemble the Frame
Identify the door position and start assembling the prepared frame modules from both sides of the door.

Secure every connection with bolts, and after each layer is installed, check and tighten all screw points.

For taller sections, use a lift or scaffolding to assist in installing the upper layers.
Layer by layer until the top pentagon is secured — now the dome’s structural frame is complete.

Step 2 — Install RAXDOME Double-Layer Insulation
Next, install the interior aluminum insulation panels in designated areas. These panels decorate the interior, protect privacy, block 100% of UV rays, and provide moisture, thermal, and acoustic insulation. Fit the panels to the frame and seal the perimeter with structural adhesive for waterproofing.

Then apply RAXDOME’s exclusive 20-millimeter thermal insulation layer — one side foil-faced, the other self-adhesive. Peel off the adhesive backing, press the insulation onto the panels, and smooth it flat for a tight bond and nice thermal performance.

Step 3 — Install Exterior Insulated Tempered Glass
The dome uses 5 + 9A + 5 mm insulated tempered glass.
Before installation, apply masking tape around the glass edges.

And install double-sided tape on the frame.

Place each glass into the frame and press it gently to seat it.

Inject structural adhesive evenly into the seams

and use a spatula to remove excess for a neat finish.

Install glass panels from the top down to ensure proper sealing and drainage.
For the bottom layer, support the glass with wooden blocks for 12 hours while the adhesive cures, then remove the supports once fully set.

Step 4— Windows & Ventilation
Next, install the hexagonal glass windows and the solar exhaust fan. The solar fan mounts through pre-drilled holes and is fixed with screws to the panel or glass.

For large domes, an optional electric glass windows can be installed to increase ventilation. The hexagonal window design allows for maximum ventilation, optimizing airflow within the dome.

Step 5 — Final Inspection & Testing
After installation, perform a thorough inspection and testing to ensure that the frame is stable, the glass is properly sealed, and the ventilation system is functioning well.

With these steps, your honeycomb glass dome tent is now ready.
