It’s a long story about RAXTENT brand.
In China, there is an ancient saying: "A man fears choosing the wrong career, a woman fears marrying the wrong man." Choosing the tent industry is crucial for RAX TENT.
How RAX TENT established and why we called "RAX"?
In China, people always say that a man reaches maturity at thirty. In 2013, Mr. Leo established RAX TENT when he turned 30. Starting from scratch, without any background, connections, or substantial funds in China, despite the challenging circumstances, he held firm beliefs. His goal was to bring high-quality products manufactured by Chinese enterprises to people worldwide, adding value to people globally. Thus, in difficult times, he firmly believed he could establish himself and achieve his dreams. He did it. Since its founding in 2013, RAX TENT has been dedicated to research, focusing on high-quality tent products and aiming to create continuous value for customers.
During the past 12 years, RAX TENT has relocated factory twice. In 2013, RAX TENT's production workshop was located in Lanhe Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou city, with an area of only about 1000 square meters, mainly produce marquee tents and pagoda tents. In 2015, Mr. Leo foresaw the new trend in the outdoor tent industry shifting towards geodesic dome tents for outdoor event and luxury camping. Since 2015, he has been at the forefront of developing dome tent products domestically in China, designing and exporting 6m in diameter geodesic dome tents, which have been well received and loved by customers.
In 2016, RAX TENT became the first tent manufacturer who can successfully produce and build the big 30m in diameter big dome tent for event for China's top real estate group——Vanke Group. In 2017, RAX TENT produced and built two sets of 50m diameter dome tents for the Corona Beer and Music Festival and the huge 80m in diameter dome tent for the Qinhuangdao Ice and Snow Festival. To this day, RAX TENT remains the only tent manufacturer in China and even globally capable of successfully producing and erecting an 80m diameter geodesic dome. Breaking conventions, full of creativity, and being accountable for results have always been the driving force behind RAX TENT's development and progress.
From 2013 to 2017, after several years of accumulation, Mr. Leo relocated RAXTENT to our previous factory in Foshan City to ensure more precise quality control and to increase production capacity to meet the demands of large-scale geodesic dome tent projects. This factory spans over 5,000 square meters and is equipped with 4 high-frequency welding machines, fully automated digital cutting machines, dual-head welding machines, dual-head cutting machines, and fully automated engraving machines, significantly enhancing production efficiency and accuracy while enforcing stricter quality control measures. Upholding product quality and enhancing production efficiency has been the principle for RAXTENT.
Since 2018, Mr. Leo has steered RAXTENT's towards designing and developing rigid and higher quality tent products. Safety and comfort have always been paramount considerations for outdoor tents. Therefore, starting from 2018, RAXTENT has been dedicated to manufacturing hard glass dome tent, aiming to enhance consumers' camping and living experiences. This initiative has driven new consumer habits in camping and resort products both domestically and internationally, thereby providing long-term value and returns for our clients. Indeed, through numerous actual cases of geodesic glass domes, we have demonstrated that these products are highly appreciated in the market.
In 2018, RAXTENT produced and installed glass domes for the Aicha Memories Luxury Glamping Site in the Jordanian desert, which attracted global tourists for camping experiences. By 2020, RAXTENT's first dome tent camping site at Clear Sky Resort in the United States had already gained widespread recognition. In 2023, the second luxury glamping site with all-wooden glass dome tents at Clear Sky Resort will open in August 2024. Many other projects have become benchmarks in the local camping market and are continuing to generate sustained revenue. Creating ongoing value for our clients and friends has always been the guiding principle at RAXTENT.
In April 2024, Mr. Leo led RAXTENT to relocate to our current new factory address, creating 1:1 scale domes and tents samples to present complete and authentic prototypes to customers, showcasing product quality and style comprehensively. RAXTENT has set up new sample exhibition spaces and product production workshops in Blocks 18 and 20 of Huake Park in Foshan city, further enhancing efficiency. RAXTENT's product lineup includes glass dome tents, wooden glass domes, honeycomb glass domes, pyramid glass house, prefab capsule houses, peaks tent houses, worm-shaped glamping tents, and more. RAXTENT is capable of faster and more precise design of new products, development of new materials, presenting our research outcomes to the tent and outdoor camping industries. Crafting each product well and serving every customer friend is our contribution to China's manufacturing industry, delivering higher-quality products and services from China to the world, enhancing global understanding of China. RAXTENT bridges products with culture, showcasing the symbiosis of China and the world's beauty.
